Single Layer Desiccant 32 x 500g bags. Silverback container desiccant is a high performance clay based desiccant capable of absorbing more than 70% of moisture relative to its weight (90% RH & 37C). This highly absorbent clay is activated by Calcium Chloride (CaCl2) to ensure this superior performance. Single layer, 3 side heat sealed Tyvek Packaging. After the Silverback desiccant bag is removed from its protective packaging and placed it in your container, it will immediately start absorbing free moisture from the air inside your container. The relative humidity is reduced, therefore preventing the condensation cycle. The idea is you hang the bags of desiccant evenly through the container so you get consistent absorption.
